RPM Raceway will unveil its upgraded indoor go-kart experience when its new RPM megatrack opens in Jersey City Jan. 24.
The facility, located on Caven Point Road, is being dubbed as the world’s longest at more than 2,200 feet with a 72 second lap time. Two new tracks will be able to accommodate up to 16 adult racers and 12 juniors, with guests having access to an all-new fleet of OTL Italian electric adult and junior karts with digital dashboards, paddle shifters, and speed boost capabilities.
RPM, which operates five locations throughout the Northeast, says the multimillion-dollar renovation of its Jersey City location cements RPM Raceway as now having the longest mega-track indoor electric kart racing experience in the world.

RPM says the renovation includes three levels of elevation, lightning-fast straightaways, 90-degree hairpin turns and spiraling ramps that racing enthusiasts and thrill seekers will love.
“We are excited to officially unveil the future of indoor electric go-kart racing at our Jersey City location,” said Eyal Farage, chief executive officer and co-owner of RPM Raceway, in a press release. “Twelve years ago, our family introduced the greater New York area to kart racing as a form of experiential entertainment. This next-generation multi-level racing concept is not only incredible, it demonstrates our passion and commitment to improving the overall entertainment and hospitality experience of our guests.”
In addition to the racetrack, RPM Raceway also offers “top-to-bottom entertainment options,” including its state-of-the-art esports, virtual reality and arcade arena. Later in the year, a new trackside Bar & Grill will open featuring 360-degree views of the racetrack.
“It’s fast, it’s fun and we are confident our guest will love it,” said Farage. “We look forward to providing the longest and best kart racing experience in the world.”
