Bank of America is partnering with FIFA and nonprofit Vet Tix to provide thousands of free FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets. The promotion is open to military veterans, active-duty service members and first responders, as well as their families, living in or near the tournament’s U.S. host cities — including the New York-New Jersey region.

Announced June 3, the initiative includes a $2 million contribution from Bank of America and an additional $250,000 from Vet Tix. The $2.25 million ticket pool will provide 4,547 free tickets across all stages of the tournament, from group-stage matches through the championship final.

The program will offer eligible New Jersey residents an opportunity to attend matches at MetLife Stadium. The venue will host eight World Cup games, including the final.

“Working with Vet Tix and FIFA allows us to show our gratitude in a tangible way, by ensuring these families are in the stands enjoying these matches in the Great State of New Jersey.”

A force for good

Vet Tix and 1st Tix will distribute the tickets. Both organizations provide free event tickets to military members, veterans and first responders. Eligible participants can register through the organizations’ websites to receive notifications when World Cup tickets become available.

A recent Bank of America event shared how businesses can prepare for – and take advantage of – the FIFA World Cup 2026. Find out more here.

The initiative is part of Bank of America’s broader efforts surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration. The bank will also sponsor a fan experience on the National Mall in Washington as part of FIFA’s official World Cup Fan Zone.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the partnership will help ensure veterans and military families can participate in what is expected to be the largest World Cup ever staged.

“At FIFA, we believe football is far more than just a game – it is a powerful force for good,” said Infantino. “As the United States marks its 250th anniversary during this historic tournament, we are proud to work alongside Bank of America, the Official Bank Sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2026, and Vet Tix to help ensure veterans and military families across the country can be part of the greatest global sports tournament ever.”
