The 2025 Mizuho Americas Open is set to tee off from May 8-11 at iconic Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, organizers announced this week.
Since its inception in 2023, the event has become a prime stop on the LPGA Tour. In 2024, Nelly Korda captured the title, making LPGA history in the process with six tournament wins in seven starts. Rose Zhang won the 2023 crown – a historic victory in her first LPGA tournament.
“We are excited to announce the kick-off to the 2025 Mizuho Americas Open,” said Calia Roberts, tournament director at Excel Sports Management, in a Nov. 18 press release. “With memorable finishes at our first two tournaments, I’m looking forward to seeing what happens this year at Liberty National.”
LPGA Tour icon and Mizuho Americas Brand Ambassador Michelle Wie West will once again serve as Tournament Host.
Along with one of the strongest fields on the LPGA Tour, the event also features 24 of the top juniors in the Rolex AJGA Girls Rankings. Those players compete as part of the AJGA Invitational, held concurrently at Liberty National.
“The Mizuho Americas Open returns with its groundbreaking format, featuring the best LPGA players in the world competing side-by-side with the top-ranked junior golfers,” said Roberts. “We are confident this year’s Mizuho Americas Open will once again stand out as an elite event on the LPGA calendar.”
Organizers also announced the launch of volunteer registration and corporate hospitality packages.
“Our hospitality offerings are perfect for individuals or corporations looking to entertain and experience the best of women’s professional golf, at a truly iconic venue,” said Roberts.
