American Dream has revealed Dream Fan Fest, a 39-day World Cup celebration that will run throughout the duration of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The event helps position the East Rutherford complex as a central hub for off-the-pitch activity in the region.
Dream Fan Fest will feature daily viewing parties, live performances, celebrity appearances, brand activations, concerts and themed experiences across the property. It pairs with programming at major venues, such as The Rink, Dream Live Performing Arts Center, Expo Center and DreamWorks Water Park.
The activation will span the entire campus, leveraging its 250 retailers, 65 dining options and more than 30 attractions, offering curated hospitality experiences for fans, brands and partners. As part of the lead-up, American Dream will also host marquee events including the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola at The Rink in early June.
American Dream will also play a key logistical role during the tournament. The Meadowlands megamall will offer thousands of parking spaces on matchdays — a premium asset as MetLife Stadium will not offer general parking and instead rely on public transit.
American Dream Chief Marketing Officer Adam Petrick described the World Cup as a once-in-a-generation opportunity for the region.
“And American Dream will be at the center of off-the-pitch activity,” said Petrick. “From gameday hospitality to non-matchday experiences, we are creating memorable moments for millions of visitors from around the world. Unlike traditional fan fests, we will activate for the entire tournament in a climate-controlled environment with unmatched programming.”
The announcement builds on a series of recent soccer-focused developments at the property.
American Dream had also planned to partner with the New Jersey Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to host “La Plaza de Fútbol.” That 39-day marketplace was scheduled for June 11 through July 19.
The complex has also expanded its global soccer footprint with the opening of an Adidas flagship soccer store. The upcoming debut of The Messi Experience, an immersive attraction celebrating Lionel Messi’s career, builds on that.
American Dream said it will announce additional details on Dream Fan Fest programming, partners and activations in the coming weeks as it continues to position itself as a premier destination for fans throughout the World Cup.
