Attain Physical Therapy is partnering with a premier health and fitness center in Pompton Plains to add on-site rehabilitation services.

The Shrewsbury-based practice will provide comprehensive physical therapy at Spa 23 Fitness and Lifestyle. The partners announced the collaboration in June. Services will include injury recovery, mobility and strength training, and ongoing wellness support.

As part of the agreement, Attain also relocated its Fairfield office to a new, state-of-the-art facility inside Spa 23 as of July 14, the provider said.

Attain founder Matt Cifelli said his group is “excited to bring its services into a space that aligns so closely with our mission.”

“Spa 23 is known for its innovation, excellence and community – and we’re excited to grow alongside them,” said Cifelli.

The leader is a regional winner for Ernst & Young’s 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Considered a national leader in rehabilitation, Attain delivers innovative physical, occupational and speech therapy services through a patient-centric approach. Along with operating in-state facilities in Belmar, Berkeley Heights and Edison, Attain has four offices in Florida as well as locations in Washington, D.C., and Portland, Ore. It also partners with senior housing communities and outpatient locations.

As a full-service health and fitness club, Spa 23 offers group classes, personal training, aquatic programs, spa services and more.

Jenna Tulino, general manager and co-owner of Spa 23, described the partnership as a “huge step forward” for her facility.
