Attain PT is expanding into Connecticut through a partnership with Maplewood Senior Living.
The Shrewsbury-based provider said it will launch in the Constitution State starting in the second half of 2026. Attain will offer on-site physical therapy and rehabilitation services at Maplewood’s luxury senior living communities in Orange, Bethel, Newtown and Danbury.
Attain will also cover additional Maplewood-run properties later this year. That expansion will include properties such as Southport, Strawberry Hill and Darien, the company said in a press release.

Matt Cifelli founded Attain in 2020. The provider delivers innovative physical, occupational and speech therapy services through a patient-centric approach. It operates across outpatient clinics and senior living communities. Along with operating 17 facilities across New Jersey, Attain also has two sites in Florida, one in Oregon and one in Washington, D.C.
Cifelli shared, “Our expansion into Connecticut is a meaningful step in our mission to deliver accessible, high-quality rehabilitation services to seniors within the communities they call home. Maplewood has set a remarkable standard for senior living, and we’re proud to support their residents with personalized care that helps them move, feel, and live better every day.”
Cifelli was recently named as one of 35 regional finalists for EY’s 2026 Entrepreneur of the Year award. It marks his second year in a row as an honoree.
Additionally, Attain came in at No. 755 on Inc.’s ranking of America’s 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in 2025.
