A Boulder-based private equity firm made a majority investment in Sandy Alexander Inc., a multi-channel marketing communications company that was founded in 1963.
Snow Peak Capital LLC announced the Sandy Alexander deal April 26, marking its first fund, which was made in partnership with the Clifton-based firm’s management team and other previous owners, and acquisition.
“We look forward to partnering with Snow Peak Capital to enhance the breadth of solutions we can provide to our customers,” Sandy Alexander President and CEO Michael Graff said in a prepared statement. “Our collaboration with Snow Peak will provide us with the capital and operational support we need to help guide our future growth initiatives.”
Sandy Alexander, which works with the retail, casual dining, technology, automotive and health care industries, offers direct marketing services include printing, finishing services and visual effect experiences. The company also provides multiple software offerings catering to a range of customers. It has additional offices in Florida and California.

According to a statement from Snow Peak Partner Anthony Chirikos, that company will provide investments and resources to Sandy Alexander to help drive growth, “both organically and through acquisitions.”
Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth served as legal advisor to Snow Peak Capital. New Direction Partners and Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo PC served as financial and legal advisors, respectively, to Sandy Alexander. Global Endowment Management provided equity financing alongside Snow Peak in this transaction. Debt financing for the transaction was provided by PNC Bank. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
