Breeze Airways continues its expansion across New Jersey, announcing June 25 that it will begin service at Trenton-Mercer Airport with four new routes.

Introductory fares will start at $59 one way. The low-cost airline said June 25 it will launch flights from to Charleston, S.C., as well as Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers and Vero Beach, Fla.

The move marks the carrier’s latest push into the Garden State. In recent months, the airline has expanded service at Atlantic City International Airport, adding several new destinations (including another just this week). At ACY, the growth comes as airport officials work to diversify air service following Spirit Airlines’ shutdown earlier this year.

Beginning Sept. 20, Breeze will offer nonstop service from Trenton to Charleston on Thursdays and Sundays. The airline will also launch BreezeThru service to Fort Lauderdale on the same days, allowing passengers to remain on the aircraft during a scheduled stop without changing planes.

Additional routes will follow later in the year. Nonstop service to Vero Beach begins Sept. 30, while nonstop flights to Fort Myers are scheduled to launch Jan. 8, 2027.

Ready for takeoff

“We’re thrilled to welcome as our newest airline at , with nonstop flights to three destinations launching in the next six months,” said Executive Dan Benson. “TTN offers the easiest air-travel experience in our region and we’re proud to keep expanding travelers’ options with affordable flights to even more locations, including the return of a non-stop destination outside of Florida.

“We look forward to continuing to build on our relationship with Breeze in the months and years ahead.”

Breeze launched in 2021. Founder and CEO David Neeleman says the airline is excited to expand its footprint in New Jersey with the addition of Trenton-Mercer.

“With four great destinations we know our guests will love the convenience, affordability and high-value we offer,” said Neeleman. “We can’t wait to welcome them on board.”
