All-Clad Metalcrafters named Marcus Samuelsson an Official All-Clad Chef Ambassador. - PROVIDED BY ALL-CLAD

Celebrity chef and restauranteur Marcus Samuelsson is teaming up with Parsippany-based premium cookware brand All-Clad Metalcrafters.
As a chef ambassador, Samuelsson will contribute to product development by using the cookware to test and create recipes “that inspire people to try new cooking techniques and expand their cooking repertoire,” the company said in a May 22 press release.
So far, he’s already developed some exclusive signature dishes made using his favorite All-Clad products: Swedish Meatballs, Shrimp Piri Piri and Dutch Baby Pancake with Fried Chicken, Mace Gravy & Poached Eggs.
Samuelsson joins a lineup of fellow award-winning chef ambassadors that includes Einat Admony of New York, Paul Kahan of Chicago, Nina Compton of New Orleans and Gavin Kaysen of Minneapolis.
In a statement, Samuelsson said he was honored to partner with All-Clad.
“Food has given me connection and having reliable, long-lasting cookware is integral to creating inspired meals and memories with friends and family, The culinary industry is constantly evolving, yet All-Clad has remained consistent for 50 plus years in my kitchen and in so many others,” he said.
Samuelsson was born in Ethiopia and raised in Sweden before moving to the United States. He has received eight James Beard Foundation Awards, cooked for President Barack Obama and won numerous competitions, including Top Chef Masters and Chopped All-Stars.
His Harlem, N.Y.-based group’s portfolio includes two New Jersey spots: family-friendly casual eatery Vibe BBQ in Newark and experiential dining concept Marcus Live! Bar & Grille at American Dream mall.
The chef is also a committed philanthropist. Samuelsson serves as co-chair of the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP). As a previous partner to World Central Kitchen, he converted his restaurant into community kitchen during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Founded in 1971, All-Clad produces professional quality bonded cookware for working chefs and avid home cooks.
