Biotech company Genmab inks lease at former Bristol-Myers campus

Colliers International Group Inc. announced it secured a long-term lease within the corporate campus located at 777 Scudders Mill Road in Plainsboro.

Genmab A/S, an international biotechnology company specializing in the creation and development of differentiated antibody therapeutics for the treatment of cancer, will relocate its U.S. headquarters office and establish a research lab at the site.

Genmab will become the first new tenant at the campus since the relocation of Bristol-Myers Squibb. Genmab will move into 90,070 square feet across two floors in a consolidation and expansion of its office and research activities in the United States.

A team from Colliers International led by Executive Managing Director Charlie Hatfield and Associate Director Brett Incollingo represented the property owner, Trawler Capital Management, in the deal along with Tom Romano of JLL. Genmab was represented by JLL Managing Directors Dan Spero and Craig Eisenhardt, and Vice President Jason Benson.

The 125-acre campus was custom-built for biopharma giant Bristol-Myers Squibb, with buildings designed by The Hiller Group, and has since been managed and maintained. The property consists of three, five-story, 220,000-square-foot office buildings that are environmentally efficient.

Located in the Princeton/Route 1 submarket, 777 Scudders Mill Road will offer an all new suite of on-site amenities to support a collaborative working environment.
