Pendry Hotels will redevelop Peapack-Gladstone’s Natirar to become Pendry Natirar and Pendry Residences Natirar for spring 2020.
Pendry’s plans for the 400-acre Natirar aim to create an immersive experience for guests, residents and club members by providing an “opportunity to revel in the process of cultivating, harvesting, preparing and savoring food … where it is grown,” the company said in a release.
To that end, Pendry Natirar will add a new signature restaurant to the grounds to join the current farm-to-table Ninety Acres Restaurant & Cooking School; and expand the 33,000-square-foot mansion on the grounds – constructed in 1912 and once owned by the late King of Morocco – to include a 66-room hotel.
Pendry Residences Natirar will offer two limited but distinct experiences for home ownership at Natirar.
Estate Villa Residences will afford residents semicustom home building at up to 4,000 square feet in a private, gated community named Abby Road. Farm Villa will create a private “agrihood,” fully integrating residents with Natirar’s 12-acre farm.
Natirar is a public-private partnership between its Founder Robert Wojtowicz and Somerest County.
Pendry Hotels, based in Irvine, Ca., is a Montage International brand.
