Cooper Health adds multispecialty care to downtown Camden office

Cooper University Health Care is now offering multispecialty care at its Market Street facility in . 

Dr. Rachel Haroz, head of Cooper’s addiction medicine program, Center for Healing, said the office is designed so that “patients receiving treatment for use disorders … have easy access to other high-quality care services.” 

Located downtown at 808 Market St., the new Cooper Multispecialty Care at Market Street offers services including: 

  • Treatment for substance use disorders 
  • Primary care 
  • Psychiatry 
  • Integrated child and adolescent behavioral health (including a new initiative focused on adolescent behavioral health and ) 
  • Addiction 
  • Obstetrics and gynecological care 
  • Clothing collection for patients, shower and laundry facilities, and computer stations 

 

Other Cooper Health teams share the location, including the Center for Healing as well as the departments of psychiatry, obstetrics and gynecology, and family medicine. 

“Having these offices under one roof is more than a convenience for our patients. It greatly increases our ability as a care team to provide the care that our patients need and deserve,” Haroz added in a Feb. 11 statement.

Elsewhere, in NJ 

In Central Jersey, there soon will be more addiction and mental health support services available for residents. 

Backed by “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, The Archangels Centers are expected to open June 1 in Woodbridge and East Windsor. 

The facilities will provide comprehensive care for adolescents and adults struggling with substance abuse, mental health issues and concurrent disorders.
