CoreWeave drives Aston Martin F1 as AI cloud partner

Another notable development from CoreWeave, the New Jersey-headquartered, leading cloud platform.

The company announced May 22 a multiyear partnership with Aston Martin Aramco. joins the team as its Official AI Cloud Computing Partner.

Key features of the partnership include:

  • CoreWeave will offer support to relocate the team’s existing data center to its first large-scale cloud computing facility. This will enable the team to operate with greater agility, efficiency and performance
  • CoreWeave will provide the speed, performance and expertise to unlock AI-accelerated engineering opportunities for
  • The team will name its new wind tunnel, which came online in early March, the CoreWeave Wind Tunnel
  • CoreWeave branding will appear on the AMR25 from the Monaco Grand Prix May 25, 2025

 

CoreWeave founder and Chief Strategy Officer Brian Venturo said, “As a lifelong Formula 1 fan and a passionate supporter of Aston Martin, it’s an incredible opportunity to partner with a team that represents the cutting edge of performance and innovation.”

New opportunities

Venturo described Formula 1 as a proving ground for what’s possible when talent, technology and ambition align.

Stroll added, “United by a fierce ambition to win, we’re excited to harness the power of AI cloud computing together, transforming drive and passion into on-track results.”

This latest development for CoreWeave comes on the heels of its acquisition of Weights & Biases, a strategic agreement with OpenAI, joining the NJ AI Hub, and of course its IPO in March. Since that debut on Nasdaq Stock Market, CoreWeave’s share price more than doubled. As of this writing, it now traded at over $100 per share.
