Daddy’s Chicken Shack plans NJ debut with 13 stores

Daddy’s Chicken Shack, a fast-casual chicken chain, is gearing up for a New Jersey debut.
As part of an agreement with Esperto Hospitality Group, a locally based team of industry veterans, the brand will launch 13 locations in Monmouth and Ocean counties over the next few years.
Founded in 2018, Daddy’s Chicken Shack’s Southern-inspired menu includes fried and grilled chicken, as well as sandwiches, sliders, popcorn chicken, burritos, salads and loaded fries.
Specific New Jersey locations for the brand were not announced nor was a timeline for openings.
Since launching a franchise program in 2021, the Colorado-based concept has grown to eight locations nationwide. Of the 160 restaurants in development by franchisees, Daddy’s Chicken Shack expects 10 of those units will open by the end of 2024.
The company’s growth plan ramped up in 2021, when Area 15 Ventures – a private equity owned by RE/MAX co-founder and chairman Dave Liniger Jr. – made a significant investment. Two years later, Area 15 Ventures acquired the brand. Other companies within its portfolio include sandwich franchise Port of Subs and red light therapy brand DNA Vibe.
