On Thursday, SB One Bank announced Anthony DeSenzo as executive vice president and head of commercial lending.

DeSenzo will support the growth of the loan portfolio at the Rockaway-based financial institution in addition to overseeing commercial lending. The 28-year veteran of diversified lending and credit underwriting will also work to foster relationships in the bank’s markets, SB One said.

DeSenzo comes to the role from ConnectOne Bank, where he held the role of team leader for New Jersey commercial real estate. Before that, he served as managing director and relationship manager of commercial real estate at Capital One Bank.

DeSenzo is an occasional speaker at state commercial real estate events including for the Mortgage Bankers Association and the NJ Apartment Association. He is currently a member of the NJ Real Estate Lenders Association.
