Inc. announced Aug. 27 it received a from the Stock Market following its failure to file on time a quarterly report for the period ended June 30, 2024.

The notice, which the Woodcliff Lake company said it received Aug. 21, follows several warnings from Nasdaq over the past few months for failing to timely file forms, beginning in November, followed by notices in April and May.

Eagle said that, in July, the Nasdaq Hearings Panel granted the company’s request for continued listing on the market, subject to certain conditions, including that it will file multiple annual and quarterly reports before Sept. 30.

The company said it’s working to prepare and file the delayed reports with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to regain compliance with Nasdaq listing standards.

Eagle focuses on developing treatments for cancer. The company’s commercialized products include Pemfexy, Ryanodex, Bendeka, Belrapzo, Treakisym (Japan), and Byfavo and Barhemsys through its wholly owned subsidiary Acacia Pharma Inc.

In November 2023, company founder Scott Tarriff stepped down from his positions as president, CEO and board director. Eagle named Michael Graves to the interim roles. Graves said he would serve in the role until a permanent replacement was named.

NJBIZ has reached out to the company for further information.
