Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno PC is expanding its presence in Bergen County by combining practices with Aronsohn Weiner Salerno & Kaufman PC, effective July 1.
The Parsippany-based law firm and Hackensack-headquartered group brought together more than 60 attorneys across North Jersey. The merger will offer clients an expanded range of legal services in family law, arbitration, commercial litigation, transactional work and land use matters.
Founded nearly 50 years ago, Hackensack-headquartered Aronsohn Weiner specializes in complex family law, commercial litigation and real estate matters. Einhorn Barbarito welcomed the following attorneys to its firm in a Wednesday news release:
Besides providing the seven-lawyer firm with “expanded resources and access to a full-service platform,” the move will extend Aronsohn Weiner’s presence into Morris County, the announcement said.
According to Einhorn Barbarito, the new team will continue to work from its office in downtown Hackensack.
Einhorn Barbarito co-Managing Partner Matheu Nunn said the firm is proud to welcome Aronsohn Weiner.
“Aronsohn Weiner Salerno & Kaufman has earned the respect of clients, judges, and fellow practitioners throughout New Jersey over decades of outstanding work,” the family/matrimonial practice and general appellate practice co-chair went on. “They have built exceptional practices and share our dedication to the values and standards that have long defined our firm.”
Einhorn Barbarito co-Managing Partner Gary Botwinick believes the addition will enable the firm to “better serve our Bergen County clients while broadening the services we can provide throughout northern New Jersey, including ADR, estate planning, commercial litigation and other key disciplines.”
“By bringing together the strengths of both firms, we are expanding the services and capabilities available to our clients while maintaining the personalized counsel and responsiveness they have come to expect,” the taxation and trusts & estates practices co-chair added.
Founded in 1961, Einhorn Barbarito serves a diverse base of clients, from individuals and families to public and private companies. In addition to its headquarters in Parsippany, the firm has an office in New York City.
Its team has experience in the areas business and corporate matters, employment law, commercial litigation, personal injury and workers’ compensation, family and matrimonial matters, real estate and zoning issues, estate planning, special education, assisted living issues, criminal law and tax law. The firm also has a strong appellate practice that focuses on a variety of high-stakes legal issues.
Aronsohn Weiner Managing Shareholder Richard Weiner shared, “Our firms share a commitment to sophisticated legal counsel and exceptional client service. We were attracted to Einhorn Barbarito because of its longstanding reputation, breadth of talent, collaborative culture, and emphasis on long-term client relationships.
“Joining Einhorn Barbarito allows us to continue serving our clients as we always have while providing them access to additional resources and a broader range of legal services.”
Salerno echoed the sentiment, saying, “Throughout our firm’s history, we have focused on helping clients navigate complex legal and business challenges with practical advice and strong advocacy.”
Now, as part of Einhorn Barbarito, the firm will be able to “build on that foundation while giving clients access to a deeper bench of talent and broader capabilities,” he said.
