Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno PC has a new co-managing partner.

In a June 24 press release, the Morris County-based law firm announced his fellow partners selected Matheu Nunn to serve alongside co-managing partner Gary Botwinick.

After joining the firm in 2011, Nunn, 43, co-chairs the family/matrimonial practice and general appellate practice. He is also currently a board member and serves on the executive committee.

Prior to starting at the firm, he served as a prosecutor. Before that, he clerked for Morris County Assignment Judge Theodore Bozonelis and then at the Appellate Division for Judge Jack Sabatino. Nunn earned his law degree from Rutgers School of Law and a bachelor’s degree at the University of Delaware.

During his career, Nunn has earned numerous awards. He also is regularly published in the New Jersey Law Journal and the New Jersey Lawyer. Additionally, he is known for his role as amicus curiae on appellate and Supreme Court matters.

Looking to the future

Patricia Barbarito, senior partner and member of the board and executive committee, described Nunn “a tremendous asset to the firm, in client service and in firm strategy.”

“His role is consistent with our firm’s mission and a logical step as we expand to new office space in Parsippany and continue to serve businesses and families throughout the region,” she said.

After signing a lease in December 2024 for nearly 25,000 square feet at The Arbors @ Parsippany, Einhorn Barbarito is moving soon from Denville, the firm’s base since its founding 63 years ago. The new space will double its office footprint by nearly 50%.

Botwinick added, “Pat, Mat and I have been collaborating for years, and we complement each other in terms of our vision for the Firm. Our overarching goal is to provide our clients with the legal services they expect, to develop creative and strategic legal theories, and to ensure that there are growth opportunities for new leaders at the firm.”

Looking forward

Reflecting on his new role, Nunn said, “For 14 years, Pat and Gary and I have worked together as counsel to our family law and estate planning clients, as advocates on significant appellate matters that have changed the law, and as strategists on the trajectory of the law firm. I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of our practice areas and our services to clients.”

From its offices in Denville and New York City, the full service firm serves a diverse base of clients, from individuals and families to public and private companies. Its team has experience in the areas business and corporate matters, employment law, commercial litigation, personal injury and workers’ compensation, family and matrimonial matters, real estate and zoning issues, estate planning, special education, assisted living issues, criminal law and tax law.

Einhorn Barbarito also has a strong appellate practice that focuses on a variety of high-stakes legal issues.
