Denville-based law firm Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno PC updated its name to include two longtime partners of the firm.
In an Oct. 11 press release announcing the name change, co-Managing Partners Patricia Barbarito and Gary Botwinick congratulated Matheu Nunn and Christopher Musmanno.
Nunn currently serves as co-chair of the family/matrimonial practice group and co-chair of the appellate practice group. In addition to his work in the fields of family/matrimonial law and appellate law, Nunn is known for his role as amicus curiae on appellate and Supreme Court matters.
Within the past year, he has earned an Amicus Curiae Award from the New Jersey State Bar Association, was appointed to the New Jersey Lawyer Editorial Board and sworn in as Board of Managers for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers NJ Chapter.
Nunn was also re-appointed to the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Amicus Committee and named a finalist for the New Jersey Law Journal’s Attorney of the Year Award for the third time in eight years.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as a prosecutor after clerking for Morris County Assignment Judge Theodore Bozonelis and then at the Appellate Division for Judge Jack Sabatino. Nunn earned his law degree from Rutgers School of Law and a bachelor’s degree at the University of Delaware.
Musmanno began at the firm in 2008 and chairs the accidents/personal injury practice group. He’s also a certified trial attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
With a focus on any type of personal injury matter – from emotional traumas and product liabilities to automobile accidents and workplace injuries – Musmanno works to help injured clients obtain a favorable resolution and appropriate compensation through settlement or jury trial. After graduating from the University of Virginia, Musmanno received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Co-managing partner Gary Botwinick praised Nunn and Musmanno, saying, “They consistently provide excellent client service and case strategy, skillfully lead and build their practice areas and teams, and share our commitment to the families and companies who come to our firm for counsel through all stages of their lives and businesses.”
Patricia Barbarito, who became a managing partner nearly 25 years ago and chairs the firm’s board, also congratulated the new partners.
“We remain committed to helping our clients ‘every step of the way’ in their personal and business lives, with strong leadership, legal acumen, and respect for the same values Theodore Einhorn established in 1961: professionalism, kindness, inclusion, collegiality, respect, and loyalty,” she said.
The full-service firm serves a diverse base of clients, from individuals and families to public and private companies. Its team has experience in the areas business and corporate matters, employment law, commercial litigation, personal injury and workers’ compensation, family and matrimonial matters, real estate and zoning issues, estate planning, special education, assisted living issues, criminal law and tax law.
Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno also has a strong appellate practice that focuses on a variety of high-stakes legal issues.
The firm has more than 40 lawyers and 30 professional staff spread across its offices in Denville and New York City.
