Englewood Health has opened its first newly developed ambulatory surgery center.
Located at 910 Sylvan Ave., the 20,000-square-foot Precision Surgery Center of Englewood Cliffs includes two procedure rooms and four fully equipped operating rooms.
The center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, according to a June 15 announcement. The facility was developed through a partnership between Englewood Health, SCA Health and physician partners.

“This is what the future of surgical care looks like—collaborative, efficient, and centered on the patient,” Englewood Health President and CEO Warren Geller said in a statement.
Englewood Health did not disclose the amount of the investment in the new center.

The new center follows Englewood Health’s February opening of the AM/PM Urgent Care in nearby Englewood. It also comes several months after RWJBarnabas Health and Englewood Health signed a definitive merger agreement.
