FellowshipLIFE adds 4th NJ community to life plan network

The Basking Ridge-based company announced the addition July 3. The deal was announced at the start of the year.
The former Applewood senior community in Freehold was previously owned and operated by CentraState Healthcare System. It marks the fourth community added to FellowshipLIFE’s portfolio over the past several years.
According to FellowshipLIFE, Applewood Village will maintain strong ties with CentraState, an Atlantic Health System partner.
The hospital will serve as preferred provider of comprehensive medical services for all residents, according to the Tuesday announcement. Additionally, the community can still coordinate access to primary and specialty care providers, the acute-care hospital and other CentraState facilities, located less than 2 miles from Applewood Village.
CentraState will also hold seats on the Applewood board.

Set on 44 acres, Applewood Village offers a range of recently updated living options spanning independent (300 units) and assisted (40 apartments) living as well as skilled nursing (60 apartments) and specialized memory care (11 units).
Unique to Applewood Village, the community offers an Engaged Living program, where residents can access an array of clubs, events, educational pursuits, day trips and overnight excursions. For residents looking to continue their lifelong learning journey, the community also offers college-level educational courses.
In New Jersey, FellowshipLIFE has added communities in Woodstown, Whiting and Hackettstown. Its original campus, Fellowship Village, is in Basking Ridge.
