Float spa opens second NJ location in Ocean

Float spa brand True Rest Float Spa finalized its acquisition of The Float Studio in Ocean Township, making it the second New Jersey location for the brand and 34th location overall.

Another 15 nationwide are planned for this year.

Float spas provide a gravity-free environment and restrict external distractions in pods filled with 1,000 pounds of Epsom salts and 180 gallons of water. The 30 percent salt solution enables effortless floating, which may be effective in relieving stress, reducing pain, alleviating anxiety and depression, helping with addictions, enhancing cognitive performance creativity, boosting immune function and helping sleep, according to the brand.

“This acquisition expands our footprint, enabling True Rest Float Spa to serve more people with the best in float therapy and strive to make floating accessible and approachable for everyone,” said True Rest Franchising Chief Executive Officer James Rowe in a statement. “[Floating] is a perfect complement to many holistic modalities and offers the user a peaceful state unlike anything ever experienced.”

The new True Rest Float Spa has six float pods and two float rooms.
