A year after Secaucus-based children’s clothing retailer The Children’s Place Inc. decided to kill off its Gymboree stores, the company announced a February relaunch on Wednesday.
Gymboree will reopen online and in shop-in-shop locations at more than 200 Children’s Place locations in the United States and Canada, including 15 in New Jersey, according to the revived website.
Gymboree’s launch includes eight collections of children’s clothes in sizes 12M to 8. On Feb. 3, Gymboree will announce how customers can reserve their spot to shop the new website before it’s open to all others. Early access will be limited to the first 10,000 customers.
The website will offer free shipping and free returns, with no minimum purchase. The brand’s loyalty program, My Place Rewards, will reward customers for all purchases online and in-store, and hook them up with special deals and exclusive access to events.
New Jersey locations include Gloucester Premium Outlets in Blackwood; Cherry Hill Mall in Cherry Hill; Deptford Mall in Deptford; Menlo Park Mall in Edison; The Mills At Jersey Gardens in Elizabeth; Jackson Premium Outlets in Jackson; Newport Centre in Jersey City; Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrenceville; Paramus Park Mall, Garden State Plaza, and Bergen Town Center in Paramus; Rockaway Townsquare Mall in Rockaway; Jersey Shore Premium Outlets in Tinton Falls; Willowbrook Mall in Wayne; and Woodbridge Center in Woodbridge.
