Hudson County Community College (HCCC) and Felician University recently signed an articulation agreement to give HCCC business and accounting students a streamlined route to earning their degrees.
Announced April 28, the partnership allows qualified HCCC students to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting as well as MBAs at Felician.
HCCC President Christopher Reber and Felician acting President Mildred Mihlon formally signed the agreement April 18 in the HCCC Gabert Library.
Reber said HCCC was proud to provide students with this opportunity.
“Felician University’s School of Business and Information Sciences integrates their academic programs with the corporate world, developing leadership, real-world problem solving, teamwork, and ethical decision-making skills that are all essential to success in business,” Reber said in a statement.
Under the terms of the agreement, students enrolled in HCCC’s business administration or accounting associate degree programs who maintain a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher will be guaranteed seamless articulation of credits for their associate degrees when transferring to complete a bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting degree at Felician.
HCCC serves more than 18,000 credit and non-credit students annually. The community college has similar partnerships with other universities in the greater New Jersey-New York area and beyond, including a dual admissions program in cybersecurity with New Jersey City University, launched this past fall.
