Hudson County college’s new paid internship connects students to small businesses

Officials from HCCC and the Hudson County Economic Development Corp. recently launched the effort with support from a grant from the Citizens Philanthropic Foundation, which funds $20 per hour stipends for participating students in the first year.

HCCC, NJRC partner again on job-prep Summer Training Institute

Last year, the program served 215 court-involved young adults, offering state and federally licensed courses on two tracks – General Construction and Healthcare Technology – as well as supplemental education in computer programming, financial literacy, digital literacy and workforce readiness.
