The returns to the Hudson River waterfront this spring for its 8th annual iteration.

The May 22 event is presented in partnership with BentallGreenOak at its Newport Tower for the second consecutive year.

And for 2023’s gathering, the real estate conference recently announced, LeFrak Chairman and CEO Richard LeFrak – the master developer behind Newport – will participate in a special keynote discussion exploring the history of the master planned community. He joins other confirmed speakers, including Gov. Phil Murphy and Mayor Steven Fulop, at the event exploring office, multifamily, life sciences, mixed-use, finance, amenities, affordable housing and emerging neighborhoods through a day full of moderated panel discussions featuring industry leaders.

According to organizers, more than 1,000 attendees are expected this year.

“We are thrilled to see so many of Manhattan’s largest real estate players/families announce major projects here in Jersey City.  It’s a testament to the ranking Jersey City has with global institutional capital,” Jersey City Summit founder and organizer Sherif Abouzied said in a statement. “We’re delighted to play our part in highlighting Jersey City as ‘The Most Exciting & Energetic Domestic Growth Market.’  We congratulate the mayor and share his vision for what Jersey city has to offer and are enormously bullish on its future.”

This summit kicks off at 7:30 a.m. May 22 at 525 Washington Blvd. on the 13th floor.
