Iconic rocker Jon Bon Jovi is teaming up the New Jersey Lottery for a new $5 scratch-off game celebrating his Garden State roots.

Set to launch statewide Oct. 5, the game will offer prizes of up to $200,000. According to lottery officials, they will unveil a ticket design for the “Jersey Legend: Jon Bon Jovi” scratch-off next month.

The partnership will also include additional events and initiatives tied to Bon Jovi, the state said.

New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey commented on the collaboration. “Jon Bon Jovi is synonymous with New Jersey, and we’re excited to celebrate our shared sense of Jersey pride with players across the state through these Scratch-Offs,” he said.

“Celebrating an artist whose music, career, and connection to our state have resonated with so many is especially meaningful,” Carey went on. “And we look forward to giving fans even more ways to get involved in the months ahead.”

In a statement, Bon Jovi shared, “I will always call New Jersey home, so I’m happy to join the New Jersey Lottery in celebrating the place that holds so many of my favorite personal and career memories.”

The partnership comes months after the 64-year-old’s nonprofit community restaurant concept was honored by the James Beard Foundation for efforts to feed those in need.

The upcoming game marks the latest in a series of New Jersey-inspired lottery offerings. Other recent themes have included Newark native and NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal. Outside of celebrities, the lottery has also featured Garden State staples such as:
