Lauletta Birnbaum LLC is strengthening its practice with the acquisition of Philadelphia boutique law firm .

The Sewell-based law firm welcomed veteran trial attorneys Thomas Harty and John Williams to its team in a March 17 press release. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2016, litigation-focused firm Harty Williams represents individuals and businesses in complex legal disputes. Its expertise includes business and , defamation cases, real estate matters, contract fights and other high-stakes courtroom work in state and federal courts across the U.S.

In addition to its office in Philadelphia, the four-lawyer firm has a presence in Haddonfield; Doylestown, Pa.; and Washington, D.C.

Lauletta Birnbaum said the move strengthens its litigation capabilities amid demand for sophisticated business, securities, copyright, estate and shareholder dispute representation on a national scale.

The firm noted Harty Williams’ decades of combined experience. The target has represented businesses as well as executives in complex contractual disputes, shareholder conflicts, employment litigation and tort matters.

The addition of Harty and Williams strengthens the firm’s courtroom bench. It also deepens its ability to take high stakes matters through verdict, according to Lauletta Birnbaum founder and attorney Frank Lauletta.

“Litigation is an increasingly critical component of our clients’ business strategy. We are intentionally building a premier litigation team capable of handling complex commercial and employment disputes at every stage. Tom and John are proven courtroom advocates who immediately elevate our capabilities,” he said.

Lauletta Birnbaum focuses on business and general corporate law, commercial and complex litigation, intellectual property and real estate legal services. The 19-year-old firm also serves as outside general counsel to companies across a variety of industries.

Besides a headquarters in Sewell, the firm has offices in Hammonton and Philadelphia.
