Casual dining chain Buffalo Wild Wings is continuing to expand its takeout-focused concept in New Jersey.

Buffalo Wild Wings Go will celebrate its grand opening at 1520 Route 38 in Hainesport next month. From June 1–14, the new location will give guests a free order of six bone-in wings with the purchase of any Pepsi product.

Launched in 2020, the format is designed to meet growing demand for delivery and pickup orders.

The franchise-operated model offers the brand’s most popular items. Menu options include traditional and boneless wings, hand-breaded tenders, chicken sandwiches, burgers, sides, and all 26 signature sauces and dry rubs. Customers can order online, via the app or in store.

The majority of the chain’s 1,300 locations nationwide are traditional Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants.

Within New Jersey, Buffalo Wild Wings has 19 full-service locations. Its 20th site will open soon in Piscataway, a media representative recently confirmed to NJBIZ.

Parent company Inspire Brands has roughly 150 Buffalo Wild Wings Go sites but plans to grow the format further, Restaurant Dive reported.

Locally, the concept is found in Barnegat, Fair Lawn, Haskell, Hillsborough, Jersey City, Kearny, Manahawkin, Saddle Brook, Sparta, Voorhees, Warren, West Caldwell and West Berlin. Outposts are also coming soon to Midland Park and Bayonne, the company has said.

‘Inspired’ move

In Hainesport, the 1,500-square-foot restaurant employs 18 workers and is open daily 11 a.m. to midnight. Indoor and outdoor seating is available for guests.

Buffalo Wild Wings will celebrate the June 1 grand opening with a 9 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony with Hainesport Mayor Andy Dick and local first responders. The restaurant will officially open at 11 a.m.

Hainesport Buffalo Wild Wings Go franchisee Jack Litman commented, “This opening marks an exciting milestone for our team as we expand into Hainesport. We’re proud to join the community and look forward to building lasting relationships while serving guests for years to come.”

Through his role at New Brunswick-based Munson Restaurant Group, Litman already has an established relationship with Inspire Brands.

Munson’s portfolio includes 17 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants and six Buffalo Wild Wings Go sites across the region.

The group also has nine locations of Inspire Brands-owned Sonic across across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
