Buffalo Wild Wings GO is celebrating its new Bergen County restaurant by offering guests the chance to win free wings for a year.
Located at 487 Market St. in the Market Place of Saddle Brook shopping plaza, BWW GO will begin welcoming diners at 10:30 a.m. May 29. The first 100 guests in line will receive a voucher for six wings every week for 52 weeks, the chain said in a May 24 statement.
The grand-opening celebration will feature local officials and first responders taking part in the ribbon cutting, as well as entertainment and giveaways by radio station WDHA 105.5 FM.
“For years, frequenting Buffalo Wild Wings has been a part of our family traditions, and we look forward to bringing that sense of community and tradition to the Saddle Brook area for years to come,” Bill Mulholland, Saddle Brook Buffalo Wild Wings Go franchisee, said in a statement.
The new Saddle Brook restaurant employs 30 crew members, according to the company.
Launched in 2020, the streamlined BWW GO concept offers the chain’s popular menu items such as traditional and boneless wings, hand-breaded tenders, chicken sandwiches, burgers, sides, and all 26 Buffalo Wild Wings signature sauces and dry rubs. Guests can order meals for takeout, delivery or in-store dining.
According to CNBC, Inspire Brands-owned BWW launched the quick-service concept to expand its footprint while also offering customers a more convenient option. The media outlet also said GO locations could entice investors with its smaller price tag: A traditional BWW location requires anywhere from $2.44 million to $4.83 million in initial investment, while Go location may cost a franchisee $560,000 to $1.05 million.
CNBC also said that the parent company “is reportedly considering going public in late 2024 or 2025 and seeking a valuation of $20 billion,” citing a February Bloomberg report.
Following the grand opening celebration, the new Saddle Brook restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
Within New Jersey, there are 27 traditional BWW restaurants and GO locations, according to the company’s website.
