Darcars Automotive Group of Bethesda, Md. has acquired Lexus of Englewood.

The dealership was purchased out of bankruptcy and will be rebranded Darcars Lexus of Englewood.

Lexus of Englewood filed for bankruptcy in October and was previously owned by Carmine DeMaio, who ran other dealerships that have also shut down, according to an ABC-7 report.

New owner Darcars was founded in 1977 and is owned by John Darvish and Jamie Darvish. Darcars Lexus of Englewood will be the company’s first dealership in New Jersey and 23rd overall, with other locations in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland and Florida.

President and Chief Executive Officer John Darvish said that he was “excited to add over one hundred new employees and thousands of customers to our family,” in a prepared statement on the Lexus of Englewood acquisition.
