Home improvement retailer Lowe’s is piloting an Vision Pro-powered kitchen design experience at three locations across the U.S., including one in New Jersey.

According to the North Carolina-based company, the Lowe’s Style Studio app enables viewers to explore kitchen projects with Apple’s new mixed-reality headset and design a kitchen while immersed in a virtual 3D environment.

The rollout originally launched in February. Now, Lowe’s is offering the experience in stores and with the assistance of a retail associate as part of a trial this month in three test markets:

  • Central Charlotte, N.C. – June 8-12
  • Sunnyvale, Calif. – June 22-25
  • North Bergen, N.J. – June 22-25

During the free, 45-minute one-on-one appointment with a Lowe’s kitchen specialist, customers are set up with an Apple Vision Pro headset so they can personalize their dream kitchen using Lowe’s Style Studio.

Users can explore preset styles curated by Lowe’s professional designers as well as customize hundreds of real-world materials, fixtures and appliances — all available at Lowes.com or in store.

Then, customers can save their selections or share them with friends, designers and contractors. They can additionally shop the products they selected to build their real-world kitchen.
