Westfield Garden State Plaza is growing its lineup of food and retail options.

In a June 1 press release, the Paramus shopping destination announced the following openings:

• Sweet Kitchen Level 2, near Macy’s
  • A Montclair-born bakery specializing in international treats such as baklava, tiramisu and sticky toffee pudding
• Kong Dog food court
  • A growing fast-casual chain known for Korean-style corn dogs
• Vivaia Level 2, near Macy’s
  • An eco-friendly footwear brand that uses innovative materials like recycled plastic bottles to create stylish, versatile shoes
• Hoka Level 2, near Macy’s
  • A premium performance footwear and apparel brand

According to the mall, these tenants are slated for August openings:

• Blue Bottle, a specialty coffee concept focused on high-quality, carefully sourced beans
• ThirdLove, a digitally native brand offering bras, underwear, sleepwear and activewear
• Darry Ring, an internationally recognized brand of jewelry crafted from natural diamonds

Westfield Garden State Plaza Vice President of Center Management Sue Newsom said, “From dynamic eating experiences to globally recognized performance footwear, these additions reflect our ongoing commitment to curating a vibrant, trend-forward environment that resonates with our community and enhances the overall guest experience.”

“We are pleased to welcome an exciting mix of new retailers and food concepts that further strengthen Westfield Garden State Plaza’s position as a premier shopping and dining destination in the region,” she said.

Westfield Garden State Plaza – the second biggest mall in New Jersey – is also in the midst of a project that aims to transform the property into a mixed-use community with housing, retail and public space. As part of the first phase that broke ground in April, Westfield Garden State Plaza expects to add 575 luxury apartments, about 50,000-square-feet of ground-level retail space and one-acre town green.
