Bergen Town Center in Paramus is growing its lineup of food, fashion and fitness options.
In an April 22 press release, the Urban Edge Properties-owned mall announced six upcoming additions:
Bergen Town Center is considered Urban Edge Properties’ flagship retail destination. The Paramus outlet mall has a lineup that generates more than 11 million visits annually. Its 70-plus tenants include Whole Foods, CVS Pharmacy, Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls, Nike, Adidas, Bluestone Lane, Cava, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Target and Old Navy.

The property will also soon be home to Tommy’s Tavern & Tap’s first Bergen County location. The Jersey Shore-born regional restaurant chain anticipates a spring 2026 opening for its new 10,000-square-foot outpost located on a pad site adjacent to an Olive Garden restaurant.
Urban Edge acquired Bergen Town Center in 2015 as part of Vornado Realty Trust’s decision to spin off its mall subsidiary into an independent, public company.
Since then, Urban Edge has reportedly invested at least $50 million in renovations and redevelopment projects designed to enhance the 1 million-square-foot outlet mall’s offerings and appeal. That’s included recent upgrades to signage, landscaping and wayfinding markers.
Urban Edge Senior Vice President of Leasing Josh Birns said the newest tenants will continue “to elevate the experience at Bergen Town Center.”
“At our premier retail property, the priority is to deliver a best-in-class experience for both customers and tenants. These operators provide complementary uses and will drive new traffic while benefitting from their neighbors’ existing audience,” he said.
