MAD Global CEO Mike DuHaime announced May 23 that former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former U.S. Sen. and former Attorney General Jeff Chiesa, and former Attorney General Chris Porrino joined the company as founding members of its advisory board.
“This is a great opportunity for me to work again with Mike DuHaime, a person I have known and trusted for 25 years,” said Christie. “Chris, Jeff and I have seen the value of his strategic thinking and ability to execute firsthand. We look forward to working with MAD Global to get results.”
The announcement comes on the heels of veteran Democratic operative Laura Matos joining MAD Global as a partner.
“Laura is one of the most the effective, dynamic, and well-respected Democratic strategists in New Jersey and we are fortunate she is joining the firm,” DuHaime said at the time. “She brings a wealth of experience in both government and the private sector and that knowledge and expertise are crucial building blocks as we work towards continuing to establish MAD Global as a premier public affairs firm. This is just the first of many significant moves towards that end that we will be making in 2022.”
“We are just at the beginning of our growth,” said Matos. “We are fortunate to have such prestigious former public officials partnering with us in this endeavor.”
