Robert Meisner has been promoted from director of site remediation and utility services to vice president at Matrix New World Engineering, Land Surveying and Landscape Architecture PC in Florham Park, the firm announced Tuesday.

Meisner’s more than 25 years of experience includes linear construction, emergency response, dewatering, structural support, soil and groundwater remediation, design, permitting, installation, system operation and maintenance, litigation, and regulatory support. He’s also managed projects for major utility clients and implemented all aspects of remedial investigations, data interpretation, feasibility studies, remedial design, remedial action selection, and the preparation of Remedial Action Work Plans.

“Rob has been instrumental with the development of New Jersey’s largest utility company into one of Matrix’s most-valued clients,” said Matrix President Jayne Warne. “We applaud his management and coordination of the growing environmental services group in New Jersey and remain grateful for his multiple contributions from client development, to the organization and management of the technical staff and continued dedication to the improvement in the quality of our work.”

Meisner has also provided technical expertise and prepared expert witness reports and testimony in support of litigation and insurance recovery projects.

He’s been with the company for nearly six years.
