The Center for Resiliency LLC is joining the tenant roster at a recently repositioned office building in Montvale’s growing medical hub.

The psychology practice will relocate to 160 Summit Ave. from nearby 210 Summit Ave., JLL announced Dec. 12, to a 1,000-square-foot space that will be built-to-suit by the owner.

The Center for Resiliency’s move is slated for the first quarter of 2024. Architect Guzzo & Guzzo has been retained to design the new office, while GTL Construction will serve as general contractor.

Located in northern Bergen County, Montvale Real Estate Ventures LLC purchased 160 Summit Ave. in 2021, in a deal arranged by JLL, which was subsequently tapped – along with Managing Director Frank Recine – as exclusive leasing agent for the 32,000-square-foot property. Since then, other tenants have also joined the roster, including Refuah Health Center Inc., Empowered Pelvic Health LLC and Rubinstein Plastic Surgery Center LLC.

Montvale overall has seen sustained activity from health care providers recently, which has led to a redevelopment “boom,” as JLL put it, with demand for medical office space for doctors, services and consultants continuing to rise. Valley Health, Memorial Slone Kettering and Summit Health are among the providers serving the region.

The property is just west of North Market and The Shoppes at DePiero Farm and minutes from the Garden State Parkway and the New York State Thruway.

JLL said it is currently marketing spaces at 160 Summit Ave. from 2,000 square feet to 12,000 square feet across the building’s ground level, which features a private entrance.
