During its April meeting, the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce board of directors elected four new board members to three-year terms.

Helmed by Gary Dahms (president, T&M Associates), the board plays an integral in the Chamber’s work, providing guidance to its staff on policy issues that affect the state’s short- and long-term economic growth. The group focuses on matters involving:

  • Economic development and taxation
  • Education and workforce development
  • Environment and energy
  • Government reform
  • Health care and transportation

The newly elected board members are:

  • Peter Dontas, executive vice president and market executive, New Jersey, Wells Fargo
  • Dustin Riccio, president and CEO, St. Joseph’s Health
  • Eric Seguin, president and CEO, Solix Inc.
  • Carolyn Welsh, president and CEO, NJ Sharing Network

In a press release announcing the new board members, President and CEO Tom Bracken noted the many opportunities and challenges facing New Jersey.

“And these individuals will provide counsel and expertise as we work collaboratively to ensure the state reaches its full economic potential,” said Bracken. “They will be joining a board with an already impressive group of business leaders from all parts of the state, representing many different industries and backgrounds.”
