In January, Walsh took over as CEO and managing partner at Withum, succeeding Bill Hagaman.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to follow Bill to serve as the next managing partner of Withum,” Walsh said last year.

In leading the firm known for its unique culture and doing things the Withum Way, Walsh brings over 30 years of professional experience and served on the Management Committee for six years leading up to this new role.

“Withum’s passion is our people, and we carry that spirit in everything we do,” Walsh said. “We live the Withum Way. We are catalysts for growth and success.”

Walsh has led numerous firm-wide strategic initiatives around best practices, client experience, and technology.

“I am confident my successor has all of the skills required to keep Withum moving forward as a major firm in our great profession,” said Hagaman.

In addition to his professional work and accomplishments, Walsh is passionate about assisting those in at-risk communities and underserved youth. He serves as a trustee of the Boys and Girls Club in his hometown of Newark and is a member of the Leadership Council for Habitat for Humanity of Morris, Greater Plainfield and Middlesex Counties.
