As CEO of BAW Development, Adofo-Wilson is overseeing the redevelopment of the Hinchliffe Stadium Neighborhood Restoration Project in Paterson.

“When it comes to a project of this nature, there’s no question that it takes a strong team to put all the pieces in place, and we are extremely thankful for the diverse group of financial partners that came together to fund the reimagination of this historic site,” Adofo-Wilson said last year when the project received financing. “Given the challenges of the last year, pushing this long-awaited infrastructure project forward required a highly complex, creative financing structure from all parties. The successful closings are a testament to our partners’ belief in the vision for the future of not only Hinchliffe Stadium, but the broader impact it will have for the entire city of Paterson.”

The $94 million project includes a modernization and refurbishment of the historic stadium, a restaurant and event space, affordable housing, a preschool, parking garage and more. When Hinchliffe reopens next year, in addition to housing community sporting and cultural events, it will also serve as the new home of the New Jersey Jackals, who announced their move to Paterson this fall.

BAW Development is also the designated developer of the West Lake Redevelopment Area in Neptune. Adofo-Wilson previously served as deputy mayor/director of economic and housing development for Newark, where he oversaw more than $2 billion in development.
