Organizers of the upcoming 27th Annual East Coast Congress announced this week that New Jersey Attorney General Matthew will return as keynote luncheon speaker.

The annual event takes place April 17-18 at the Hard Rock Atlantic City, covening a who’s who of industry leaders and stakeholders. In addition to Platkin’s speech, the summit features:

  • Keynote addresses from 11 major industry CEOs;
  • Additional speakers and panels on a broad range of topics pertaining to the future of gaming;
  • An exhibit hall;
  • Networking opportunities;
  • And more.

The conference will also honor recently retired state Division of Gaming Enforcement Director David Rebuck with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Meanwhile, during an April 17 cocktail reception, the conference will honor the legacy of late gaming pioneer H. Steven Norton.

“The has long served as the most important forum to ensure a dialogue between the State of New Jersey and all of gaming’s stakeholders,” said Platkin. “I am looking forward to speaking at the conference, as well as learning from those stakeholders.”

Co-founder Michael Pollock said the conference is honored that Platkin will return to the center stage of this industry.

“Our past keynote luncheon speakers have included six New Jersey governors, including Gov. Phil Murphy,” said Pollock. “New Jersey has long a leader in gaming policy – and that tradition continues.”

Lloyd Levenson is CEO of Cooper Levenson law firm and a co-founder of the ECGC — the nation’s longest-running conference. He said gaming is critical to the future of New Jersey – and New Jersey is critical to the future of gaming.

“The insights to be offered by Attorney General Platkin into this state’s gaming policy will impact the global gaming industry,” said Levenson.
