Samantha Plotino has been named executive director of Provident Bank Foundation.
She started with the foundation in 2017, previously serving as associate executive director. She replaces Jane Kurek, who retired earlier this year.
Plotino will head the foundation’s grant program, which gives more than $1 million in three priority areas – community enrichment; education; and health, youth and families – throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

“Samantha has played an integral part in the foundation’s success and we are confident that she will continue to do so as she takes the helm as executive director,” said Provident Bank Chief Executive Officer Chris Martin in a statement. “Her leadership across the organization will no doubt be supportive and very beneficial to our grant recipients as well as the foundation team.”
Prior to the foundation, Plotino worked as the mission based manager for YWCA Northern New Jersey in Hackensack. There, she was responsible for coordinating programs and special events focused on women’s empowerment, youth leadership development, and racial justice and civil rights.
