The New York Red Bulls announced Tuesday the hiring of Katie Nahoum as chief marketing officer.
A veteran marketing leader and Jersey native, Nahoum brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling iconic consumer brands in the wellness, food and lifestyle sectors. Her past experience includes companies such as KOS, Whisps, Boll & Branch and KIND Snacks.
In this new role, Nahoum will oversee all marketing and communications efforts. She reports directly to Red Bulls President and General Manager Marc de Grandpré. The Harrison-based club says the hiring is a strategic move to accelerate its brand expansion and strengthen fan engagement.
“We are thrilled to welcome Katie to the Red Bulls’ family at such a pivotal time in our evolution,” said de Grandpré. “Katie’s proven track record of building iconic, high-growth brands makes her the ideal leader to elevate our marketing strategy.”
Nahoum’s addition comes at a key time for the Red Bulls. It follows an appearance in the MLS Cup, as well as a major naming rights deal with Sports Illustrated Tickets. That long-term deal rebranded the team’s home stadium in Harrison as Sports Illustrated Stadium.
The club has also focused on a number of business initiatives and partnerships, which NJBIZ has chronicled.
“She will also bolster our emotional connection with the fans and help drive the next phase of our growth,” said de Grandpré. “Her passion, integrity, creativity, and team-first approach will be a powerful force across our entire organization.”
Nahoum, a Monmouth County resident and Long Valley native, said that as a proud “Jersey Girl,” she can’t wait to build deeper connection with the club’s loyal supporters – and welcome a new generation of fans.
“I am truly honored to join this storied club that has inspired generations of soccer fans,” said Nahoum. “Together, we’ll continue to create unforgettable experiences for everyone who walks through the gates of Sports Illustrated Stadium.”
