The New York Red Bulls Tuesday announced an extension of its partnership with OANDA – the club’s Official Forex Trading Partner.
The collaboration between the two organizations launched in 2022. Since that time, OANDA has received a slew of accolades, including recently being recognized with TradingView’s Best in The Americas award and Best in Class honors with ForexBrokers.com. The online trading platform offers forex trading, currency data and analytics.
As NJBIZ has reported, the Red Bulls’ latest development comes as the team rides a wave of momentum heading into their 2025 season (which begins Feb. 22 in Cincinnati) – on and off the pitch. That includes a playoff run last season to the MLS Cup final (the team’s first appearance in the final in 16 years) as well as a recently announced major, long-term partnership and naming rights deal with Sports Illustrated Tickets.
Red Bulls Head of Corporate Partnerships Scott Epstein said the organization is proud to announce the continuation with OANDA.
“Our shared values and commitment to both being best-in-class have helped shape this successful partnership,” said Epstein a press release. “We look forward to growing our strong collaboration this season and for years to come.”
“This collaboration is a testament to our shared vision of achieving peak performance through passion, strategy, and focus at every level,” said Jessica Beckstead, OANDA’s managing director for North America and U.S. CEO.
Beckstead noted that the partnership has enabled OANDA to offer clients exclusive access to hospitality at New York Red Bulls and Red Bull events. “Together, we’ve been able to provide exceptional experiences to OANDA clients – and I’m looking forward to growing a winning partnership that will continue to raise the game, both on the field and in the markets,” he said.
NJBIZ connected with Joe Stetson, chief commercial officer for the Red Bulls, to learn more about the partnership.
He said this extension is an illustration of how strong the relationship has grown between the two organization.
“OANDA has proven to be great partners who help us be better and challenge us to innovate our partnerships,” Stetson told NJBIZ. “The relationship has become the model of how we can extend our partnerships beyond NY Red Bulls assets and into other opportunities within the World of Red Bull.”
He elaborated on the new branding OANDA will have in Sports Illustrated Stadium, including exclusive log placement on the team bench.

“OANDA also became one of our first partners to commit to the new CLUB SI premium product that includes exclusive access to CLUB SI and Front Row ‘Manager Box’ seats behind the player benches, Valet Parking, VIP Red Carpet Entrance, Player Tunnel Access (Pre-match and halftime), in-seat food and beverage service and access to all events hosted at Sports Illustrated Stadium including concerts, Gotham FC and other events,” said Stetson.
“And overall, how much does this agreement reflect how the Red Bulls view partnerships, especially with the business community?” NJBIZ asked.
