Shake Shack adds 2nd Jersey City location

Popular burger chain Shake Shack is expanding its presence in Jersey City.
Following the successful launch of its Newport Centre location last fall, the brand unveiled its newest restaurant in downtown Jersey City. Located at 318 Grove St., the outpost officially began serving customers April 27 following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new eatery is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
Founded by restaurateur Danny Meyer in 2004 at Madison Square Park in New York City, Shake Shack is known for its hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and hot dogs as well as shakes and custard floats. It boasts more than 370 locations domestically and internationally.
Within New Jersey, Shake Shake can also be found in Edison, Paramus, Bridgewater, Cherry Hill, Eatontown, Hoboken, Livingston, Marlton, Wall Township, Parsippany, Ridgefield, Lawrence Township and Wayne.
