On Monday, IT solutions provider SHI International launched Stratascale, a new subsidiary to deliver digital agility and technology consulting.
According to the Somerset-based company, Stratascale brings together the brightest technologists and practitioners, processes, and the latest technologies to share wisdom to support cloud, automation, digital experience, data, and cybersecurity initiatives.
“So many of our customers are grappling with their own unique challenges related to achieving Digital Agility,” said David Olzak, senior vice president at Stratascale, in a prepared statement. “They have clear, ambitious goals, they need to stay competitive, and they want to uncover fresh ways that technology can accelerate their growth.
“Stratascale was created to provide business leaders a technology roadmap along their journey, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve results,” he said.
Stratascale will focus on five major practice areas. It will embrace the benefits of public and private cloud with a complete portfolio of advisory, consulting, design, implementation and technology adoption services; focus on automation to overcome the limitations of traditional infrastructure and application delivery; focus on digital experience, taking a lifecycle approach to delivering services and applications securely, with an eye on performance and user impact; focus on data intelligence to realize the full power of data by making it structured, understandable and available to stakeholders; and focus on cybersecurity, to address the real and evolving threat of security issues with a more secure environment for infrastructure, data and people.
“Customers have always asked SHI to listen, understand, and advise them on how to best meet their changing business and IT needs,” said SHI President and Chief Executive Officer Thai Lee in a prepared statement. “However, these increasingly strategic conversations require actionable resolutions at an ever-faster pace, which is why we created Stratascale. Stratascale is how we can quickly dedicate expert resources to a specific set of needs and offer a more consultative and holistic collaboration.
“From new ideas to prioritizing deployments, the Stratascale team can work together with a customer’s existing SHI account team—leveraging our strong vendor partnerships and product and program expertise—or customers can engage Stratascale independently of SHI,” Lee said. “Either way, Stratascale will lead the way in utilizing technology to solve business challenges.”
