“The more things change, the more they stay the same - at least when it comes to how residents view taxes,” said Ashley Koning, the director of the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling at Rutgers University.

The report showed the current governor garnered the support of 50% of voters who said they will, or already have, voted for him, versus 42% who said the same about his Republican challenger, Jack Ciattarelli.
