Truist is growing its middle market banking team in New Jersey.
In March, the commercial bank announced four recent hires, including regional team leader Gino Di Saverio.
“Gino’s sterling reputation for generating new client relationships and building high-performing teams will greatly benefit Truist,” said Travis Rhodes, regional president for New Jersey and Pennsylvania. “His experience and leadership will help Truist grow its presence in the market and deepen relationships with existing clients.”
Truist’s middle market banking team offers tailored solutions, including corporate finance, credit needs and cash management.
Over his more than 15 years in the industry, Di Saverio has held various roles of increasing responsibility in relationship management, credit risk and business development, Truist said. His work has included overseeing region strategy, business development and performance for middle market companies in the state.
According to his LinkedIn page, Di Saverio’s experience includes JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Columbia Bank. Most recently, he served as senior vice president commercial banking market executive at Citizens.
Truist operates in 17 states and Washington, D.C. With $531 billion it total assets, as of Dec. 31, 2024, the bank says it serves 15 million customers nationwide. Truist has 20 New Jersey locations.
“I’m looking forward to being part of a growing middle market banking team and helping Truist expand its expertise, coverage, and capabilities,” Di Saverio said. “The collaborative culture at the firm, combined with the opportunity to team with its current roster of industry-leading consultants, is very exciting.”
