Vermella Union opens outdoor amenities in time to welcome its 250th resident

Vermella Union’s 250th resident just signed their lease, lured by the Russo Development apartment community’s 95,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor health, wellness, and entertainment spaces promising the ideal home for renters seeking to upgrade their lifestyles just outside their doors.

Nearly 100 new residents submitted applications to call Vermella Union home in May and June, bringing the community over the 60 percent leased milestone. The leasing activity has also attracted some of the country’s most well-known retail and dining names to The Shoppes at Vermella, with 80 percent of the 35,000-square foot on-site retail center leased, including to Chipotle, Panera Bread, Habit Burger, Starbucks, and a full-scale CVS.

“Vermella Union’s design and styling brings an urban vibe to a suburban setting, creating the perfect balance of apartment living with resort-style amenities in areas with convenient access to established, compelling communities,” said Adam Pasternack, president of Russo Property Management. “Our leasing pace shows that our residents are as enthusiastic about this product as we are, and that we’ve tapped into a housing option that retailers are excited to be near, too.”

The appeal of the on-property lifestyle amenities is highlighted in Russo Management Company’s virtual leasing presentations and private, in-person appointments. The outdoor pool and sundeck with lounges, BBQs and dining areas, and elegant rooftop deck with outdoor games and fire pits are especially compelling as the summer weather is now upon us. The outdoor, interior courtyards, designed by renowned landscape architecture firm Melillo & Bauer Associates, are the perfect spots for relaxing and reading.

The Union Club, Vermella Union’s club house, offers 86,000 square feet of indoor amenity spaces including a resident lounge with multi-sport simulator, screening room, a gourmet demonstration kitchen, and a fully-equipped fitness center and yoga studio that is more extensive than most private clubs, studios, or gyms. Other conveniences include concierge service, package lockers, and a spacious dog park.

“People are still moving, and they want to be comfortable with the price point without feeling like they settled. We’ve designed the amenity spaces to make coming home feel like reaching a resort destination,” said Pasternack. “It seems we’ve created a confluence of amenities, personal space, and service that today’s discerning renters are looking for.”

Located at 2 Vermella Way in Union, Vermella Union’s luxury rental collection ranges from studios to three-bedroom homes, with select homes offering private balconies and patios.
