Multistate operator Sweetspot Brands is now offering recreational cannabis alongside medicinal products at its Voorhees Township dispensary.
After the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission approved the company’s application to enter into the personal-use market, the business kicked off recreational sales May 11.
Located at 903 White Horse Road, Sweetspot Dispensary first opened last fall as the first business from the state’s 2019 round of licensing to begin serving medical patients.
Jason Webski, CEO of Sweetspot Brands, “We will always be a brand that prioritizes the medical community, but recreational customers may find relief from the product in their own way.”
“From sleep to stress, this product changes lives. We take a personal interest in the well-being of our customers,” he said. “We want to find ways to personalize the experience and products for every person that walks into a Sweetspot store.”
According to Webski, existing medical customers will remain a priority and the store will keep a dedicated inventory for patients, as well as hold designated hours for medical sales.
Besides New Jersey, Rhode Island-based Sweetspot Brands operates dispensaries in its home state, Maine and Maryland.
